Headband wigs are trendy and getting more and more popular among black girls. That is because high-quality half wigs with headbands are naturally comfortable, soft, elastic, and shiny. Wearing a headband wig can give you a natural hairline just like wearing a headscarf and adding a trendy, youthful look. Today we will talk about how to make a human hair headband wig step by step at home.
What You Will Need:
A Professional canvas mannequin head you can get at any beauty shop;
A wig cap or mesh cap;
A headband;
Some wig clips;
A Velcro;
Some pins;
A pair of scissors;
C-curved needle;
Thick black thread;
Human hair bundles of choice( two or three honey blonde bundles depending on the volume and length you desired)
How Do You Make A Headband Wig Step By Step?
Step 1: Secure the wig cap On The Mannequin Head
Use some pins to secure the fishnet wig cap to the canvas mannequin head.

Step 2: Secure And Sew The Headband Onto The Wig Cap
First of all, you should cut the headband at the middle seam without bundles with closure, and fold the headband in half to find the middle of it directly, and then place the headband in the middle of your cap, and use some pins to pin the headband. Don’t forget to make sure the headband is equal on both sides of the wig cap.
At the same time, you can use a C-curved needle to bring the thick black thread down across the headband and sew the headband onto the perimeter of the wig cap. In the process of sewing, it would be better to anchor the thick black thread to the wig cap with a double knot before you cut off any strings, which will be completely secure and sturdy. Once you have finished the sewing, please make sure to tie a knot at the end so that nothing comes loose.

Step 3: Sew In Human Hair Bundles On the Wig Cap
You can use a C-curved needle to bring the thick black thread down across the weft. Then push the needle through the wig cap and out again. Continue sewing until you reach the other side. In the process of sewing, it would be better to anchor the weft to the wig cap with a double knot before you cut off any strings, which will be completely secure and sturdy.

You need to cut the weft and start your next row to continue sewing the weft to the wig cap until you reach the other side of the wig cap., just above the hem. But you need to be aware that The new row needs to start ¼ to ½ inch (0.64 to 1.27 centimetres) above the first one. Repeat these operations until the wig cap is filled with hair bundles sewed on.

Step 4: Add Some Clips And Velcro To The Wig Cap
Continue to sew four clips into the inside of the wig cap. Two are on both sides, one is on the front of the wig cap, and one is in the back. Additionally, add Velcro to the two complementary sides of the extra headband, which we have left behind the material head.
